The Mod. VRI1000-800 cooling tanks are designed for the immersion cooling of die-cast parts as they exit the press. Their generous capacity and surface area allow for easy immersion of the parts using a robot. They are constructed entirely of stainless steel to ensure durability in demanding industrial environments.
The cooling system consists of a close-coupled, self-priming centrifugal electric pump—featuring a stainless steel casing and impeller and an IP55 protection rating—and a brazed-plate heat exchanger designed for connection to a chiller or process water cooling system. A mechanically operated float valve maintains a constant water level.
The tanks come equipped with a removable stainless steel basket that collects any metal residues that may detach from the parts during the cooling process.
