Thermal oils are special mineral or synthetic fluids that, thanks to their high thermal stability and resistance to degradation, are used in various industrial sectors to transfer thermal energy. They operate in closed loop systems where they are heated (or cooled) and circulated to deliver heat to industrial processes such as diecasting, hot forming, drying, and chemical reactors before returning to a heat exchanger to either gain or release energy.
