Fire resistant hydraulic fluids

HFDU-classified fire-resistant hydraulic fluids are essential in fire-risk situations; based on biodegradable synthetic organic esters, they are used to replace mineral oils in such environments. They are miscible and compatible with mineral-based hydraulic oils and can therefore be added directly to existing fluid charges for topping up; however, maximum fire resistance is achieved only when the entire charge has been replaced by the HFDU fluid.
